government of God on the earth. And the government of God lo their voice means the government of the world needs your voice. And we can't afford to have politicians and everybody else have such a bigger voice than us. One person that is in Christ is the majority. One person that carries the gospel. ONE PERSON THAT WHOLEHEARTEDLY FOLLOWS JESUS AND GIVES him everything. Jesus didn't just pay a price for you to get to heaven. He paid a PRICE TO FULLY POSSESS YOU WITH HEAVEN HERE so that YOU CAN REMIND THE DEVIL EVERY DAY YOU MESSED UP WHEN YOU TOUCHED ME. Come on. Where where's the other Where's the other video? >> We might as well play

the other one, too. >> Love video. >> Okay, we'll do that later. >> We'll do that later. >> Yeah, that's fine, >> man. Guys, can you please give Evangelist Todd another huge warm welcome? Come on up here, brother. Can you pray for me real quick? >> Yes, sir. >> I should I should be asking you to pray for me. Please >> guys, let's pray for Todd. In the name of Jesus, we ask that you just surround him with your angels. Cover him with your precious blood from top to bottom. God, I pray that he would just be operating with the mind of Christ as he shares the truth in love, as he shares your word.

Father, I thank you that you are placing the words in his mouth for such a moment as this. In Jesus name we pray. And everybody said, >> "Amen." >> Amen. >> All right. I had a really nice shirt on this morning and then I did a podcast with him and I was completely drenched and so I changed my shirt. So please forgive me. I just I I looked really good this morning. But hey, Jesus is king. Are you guys good? >> I love listen, unity is my uh it's the most precious subject in the whole Bible. Paul said, "I wish that you would be all of the same mind." Would it be amazing if all

of us were of the same mind? Would it be amazing if we all because we all worship the same Jesus? Are you with me? >> We can no longer afford to say we agree to disagree. That is disunityity inside of unity. >> That's not okay. Do we all agree that Jesus Christ is king? >> Do we all agree that Jesus Christ is Lord? >> Lord is different than savior. >> It includes savior, but lord makes him your leader. If Jesus Christ is your leader, he's your lord. He's your master. He's the one that we follow. If we follow Jesus and we behold the lamb, we'll never behold each other. I'm going to say that again.

If I behold the lamb, >> I will see you for who God created you to be. >> I won't see you through your faults and your failures and your shortcomings. >> I'm going to go over here and I'm going to say it again. If I see you, if I see myself who for who God created me to be, >> the first commandment is this. Love God with all your Hey, you guys read the Bible. That's amazing to me. You have no idea. People are like, "Love God." >> Yeah. With what? My heart, my soul, my mind, and my strength. What's the second commandment? >> You can't love your neighbor unless you love yourself. >> We've

made this about evangelism when really it's about love. >> That's right. >> I I I have the office of evangelists. I I love it. But all of the five-fold gifts, I was talking with Pastor Jake this morning in the podcast. The five-fold gifts are for the equipping of the saints for the works of ministry. >> The five-fold gift is not for the equipping of the sinners. >> You can't equip a sinner. A sinner must get changed and transformed. >> Are you with me? You were a sinner, but you got saved by grace through faith. That doesn't mean that you don't have the ability to sin. That just means that you don't want to. Let me

just clear up a couple of things. There are people that have posted videos about me that says that I've said I've never sinned. That's a lie. I've sinned. Okay, now that that's over cuz that's just stupid. Don't take sound bites out of a message and make it a sermon. >> Come on now. >> Nobody has lived free from sin except for Jesus. But let me ask you a question. The more you fall in love with Jesus, the less you want to miss it. >> The more I fall in love with Jesus, the less I want to miss it. Does that mean that I'm above missing it? No. My name's not Jesus. My name's Todd. I'm

a son of God. He loves me. Like, he loves me. He loves me. He loves me. He loves me. He loves me. He loves me. He loves me. There are so many people out there that don't read their Bible, that don't have fellowship with the Lord, that don't have communion with Jesus. Look, the love of the Father, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the communion in the Holy Spirit, >> fellowship in Holy Spirit. So, here's the deal. Sometimes we read stuff or we hear stuff, we're not really clear of what it is, but just to be sure, we forward it to a friend. Let me just talk about gossip for a second. Gossip

is sin. I don't know if you know that or not, but you're not allowed to give people a piece of your mind anymore. >> You have to give people a piece of his. >> This feels so good. >> Love Jesus with all your heart, with all your soul, with all Some of you are looking at me like a horse at a new gate. It's probably cuz I cut my hair and I don't have dreads anymore. If I came in with dreadlocks, you'd be looking at me weirder, though, I think. cuz I had dreads that were this high. People were like, "What is how can God use that?" Maybe God's not looking at our hair, but

he's looking at our hearts. Just saying. It's possible. It's with a heart. One believes Samuel made that mistake with David. Picked the biggest son. Surely it's him. Nope. Well, surely it's him. Nope. Well, surely it's him. Nope. Well, surely it's him. Nope. Surely it's him. Nope. Well, do you have another one? Yeah, but he's the run of the litter. >> Bring him in. Come on. Like David was like, I don't know if you know it or not, but David wasn't born of the same mom, so David was the outcast. I love how God always picks the underdog. He raises them up to be giant killers >> when everybody's petrified and everybody's scared. David has killed

the lion and the bear when no one was looking. So he could kill a giant when everyone was looking. >> The more you learn worship and you learn who the Lord is when you're by yourself. >> Come when you have to kill the lion and the bear when no one's looking to kill a giant when everyone's looking. God wants to raise up giant killers. people that know who their God is. David was so disgusted when he came up to the troop and heard the giant. These guys are with this giant for 40 days, man. He's taunting the children of Israel. He's taunting the Hebrews that have covenant with God. And what did David say? Who

is this uncircumcised Philistine that has no covenant with God? This little boy, this bread and cheese bringer. I love it. bread and cheese bringer. Go and bring this to your brothers. Jesse said sends David to the camp. Brothers, these guys are warriors, man. David's not a warrior like in the in the army, but he's a warrior in God like in the private place because he learned how to worship God when no one was looking. He learned how to go after God when no one was looking. And when he gets to the fight, he gets to this thing. He Why isn't somebody going to shut them up? Like he's blaspheming God. Are you kidding me? Like,

let's kill him. You little runt. Why are you here? The brother. The brother. I know why you're here. Your pride. You know what David said? IS THERE NOT A CAUSE? That's what he said. HE SAID, "IS THERE NOT A CAUSE?" His brother said, "I know why you're here. You're prideful. You're full of pride." David said, "Is there not a cause?" What was the cause? They were He was cursing God. David's like, "I'll fight him." Or veggie tails. I'll fight him. You're big. I'm little. Your head only comes to Come on. My head only comes to your middle. Why can't little guys do big things, too? Oh, I watch Veggie Tales. Come on. I got kids.

David goes to meet Saul. He wants to fight him. Saul, come on. You're a kid. like you're little. This guy's a seasoned warrior. Do you know who God is? >> I believe that's everybody's purpose on the planet. Everybody born again. Everybody's spiritfilled. You were called to kill giants. You were called to slay giants. But you're first called to live in intimacy with God and have a real relationship. Not one that you just talk about, one that you actually have. One where you're in your closet. Your favorite place to be is alone with God. Your favorite place to be is with him when no one's looking. See, I I must desire to be with him in

secret before I ever desire to be on a platform in front of people. This is not my favorite place. My favorite place is being alone with him. You know why? Cuz he loves me. And even more than that, I'm loved by him. >> There's a difference between knowing he loves you and you being actively loved by him. We need to be a people that come into the really the reality of belief system that I am actively being loved by him. You ever heard a Christian say, "But I'm his favorite." And some people are like, "Ah, it's arrogance." I don't know if it's arrogance or confidence. >> Like most of the battle is actually believing that

you're forgiven. >> It's the most weird thing. It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen in my life that people live with guilt, shame, and condemnation in their Christian life. >> They live with it. It's constant. IT'S LIKE JESUS SAYS, "COME TO ME." >> Come on. We've all read Matthew 11, right? We've read these verses 27, 28, 29. We've read them. Come to me all of you who are weary and burdened down and weighed down by the issues of life. Come to me and I will do what? >> What did he say when you came to him? What happened? I will give you >> rest. HE GIVES YOU REST. REMEMBER, NO MORE SHACKLES, NO MORE CHAINS.

>> REMEMBER WHEN YOU GOT SAVED? REMEMBER HOW GOOD IT WAS? REMEMBER HOW BEAUTIFUL IT WAS? And what happened? >> What happened? >> WHAT CHANGED? DID JESUS CHANGE? DID THE BLOOD CHANGE? DID HIS FORGIVENESS CHANGE? DID >> WHAT CHANGED? >> You changed. >> He didn't change. Yeah, but you don't understand, man. I got a lot of stuff. Come to me, all of you who are weary AND BURDENED DOWN BY LIFE. COME TO ME AND I will give you rest. It was given to you as a gift. >> Rest was given to you. The anointing breaks the yoke. How many of YOU REMEMBER BEING HOOKED UP LIKE A PUPPET TO SIN, BEING HOOKED UP TO TRAGEDY, BEING

HOOKED UP TO TRAUMA, GOING THROUGH LIFE, GOING THROUGH HELL? MAN, I JUST DON'T I JUST DON'T I WANT TO BE DONE WITH MY LIFE. AND THEN JESUS. How many of you remember that? How many OF YOU HAVE HAD ENCOUNTER WITH HIM? HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE LOVED HIM? And then we wear LIFE ON OUR SLEEVE. WE WEAR SITUATIONS ON OUR SLEEVE. WE GO THROUGH STUFF. WHY DOES STUFF HAVE TO DICTATE YOUR LOVE FOR GOD? >> He says, "Come to me all of you who are weary and burdened down and I WILL GIVE YOU REST." YOU KNOW WHAT he says? It doesn't stop there. The next scripture is, "Take my yoke upon you." Take my yoke

UPON YOU, FOR MY YOKE IS easy and my burden is light. For I am meek and lowly. Learn from who? Your pastor? No. Learn from who? A prophet? No. Learn from a teacher? No. LEARN FROM AN APOSTLE? NO. LEARN FROM AN EVANGELIST. NO. JESUS SAID, "TAKE my yoke upon you." And learn from who? >> From who? >> Wait a second. You're supposed to learn from Jesus. I think we might have messed this thing up a little bit. Are you with me? This is A BIG DEAL. SEE, YOU'RE TALKING TO A GUY THAT COULDN'T EVEN READ, MAN. You're talking to How many of you don't know my testimony? Raise your hand. Wow. Do it again. Raise

your hand. You don't know my Where have you been? Just kidding. I'm kidding. >> Do you know that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy? >> Do you know what a testimony is? Do you know what the word testimony means? Do it again, God. >> Oh, a testimony means do it again, God. >> Man, in Israel, what they did was they set up stones when something magnificent happened that God did. Yes, >> sir. >> They did, man. They crossed the river Jordan. Set of stones right there. >> Why? So that when a father is walking with the kids and the kids go, "Papa, what happened here?" Oh, >> this is where Joshua came

across. >> What happened here? This is when Jericho fell. What happened here? This is when we crossed the Red Sea. What happened here? THIS IS WHEN GOD THIS IS WHEN GOD THIS IS WHEN God Psalm 78 is crazy. It's a It's an amazing psalm if you read it. It actually says in Psalm 78, it says, "The children of Ephraim withdrew in battle." Drew back in battle. Why? Because they forgot the covenant of God and they forgot the testimony of the Lord. So whenever you forget where you came from, whenever you do that, you fall short of the grace of God. And you're asking a spirit of the wrong spirit to come into your life. I'm

telling you the truth. When you remember the testimony, it keeps you in a place of rejoicing. ALWAYS PRAYING WITHOUT ceasing and in everything give thanks. You can't afford to forget where you came from. YOU GOT TO REMEMBER WHERE YOU CAME FROM CUZ YOU DIDN'T GET HERE by yourself. It's the grace of God, the goodness of God, and the mercy of God that brought you here. If you don't forget where you came from, you'll remain in your first love. Man, in Ephesians when he or in the book of Revelation when Jesus said, "You know what? You guys have done everything well." I mean, you guys are amazing. This one thing I have against you. >> I

thought you said we did everything well. Uh, you you have, but you've left your first love. >> Your testimony enables you to stay in first love for life. Never forget where you came from. And can I just briefly share it with you because you got to know how I got found because I was really lost. I mean, all of you were. Some of you don't believe you were as lost as you were, but you were really lost. >> Some of you don't believe that you were as blind as you really were because you grew up in church, but you were really blind. >> Some of you don't believe that you were as dead as you

really were, but you were dead in your transgression. Just because you grow up in church doesn't make you a Christian. >> Just because you go to McDonald's, it doesn't make you a Big Mac. And just because you go to a garage doesn't make you a mechanic. Are you hearing me? This is a big deal. Some of you are looking at me like you're ready to leave. You can go. I love you. You get done before I do. I bless you. But I'm not going to slow down. I'm not going to diminish the fire. And I'm not going to let anybody remain comfortable. >> I will not. WE ARE CALLED TO BURN. You are called to

be on fire. You are called to be the light of the world, a city on a hill. YOU'RE CALLED TO SHINE. And we've let a lot of things come into our soul that disable us from shining. I've never seen a depressed person shine. >> Never. Because you're looking at life and you're not beholding the lamb. >> I'm telling you, not because I didn't go through depression. Cuz I had bipolar disorder. I was borderline schizophrenic and I was manic depressed. I was suicidal my whole life. So, I went through it. It's not like I didn't live there. I did. But Jesus Jesus is king. So when I was 11 years old, my parents, my mom and

dad, I never saw them fight. I never saw them argue. I had no idea that there was any problems in the marriage. I didn't see that stuff. They they they hid it from us. I didn't see it. I have two sisters, two younger sisters. They brought us downstairs and my mom is sitting at the table and my dad and my dad said, "Your mother said she doesn't love me anymore and I have to leave." And I had no idea. I didn't see it coming. My dad left that day and I lost it. I freaked out. I freaked out. I freaked out. I freaked out. Why? Because that's my dad. Now, there's a big father issue

on the planet. The Bible says that you must be born again. To be born again means to be refathered. >> It's one of the biggest issues in the whole body of Christ. >> I have met people that are Christians for 50 years that still are hurt by what their father did or didn't do. I have met people that are so upset because their dad never told him never told them that he loved them. And all of a sudden, that's a hang-up. Once you become born again, you don't need the I love you from your father cuz you have the I love you from the father. >> Oh, it changes everything. Do you know that when

I was born, there was a hundred million chances of me swimming up a birth canal? 100 million chances. Are you with me? Let's just look. If you don't teach your kids, the internet will. So, let's talk about it. 100 million chances. There are 99,999,999 other chances. I'm one of them. All of them have jackhammers and sledgehammers and saws trying to get in the egg. Natural instinct. Get in the egg. When I get there, they're all trying to get in the egg. And when I get there, they part like the Red Sea. It's so crazy. And I jump right in the egg. I don't have a tool. I don't have a saw. I don't have a

jackhammer. All I have is destiny. And when I jump in that egg, I hear everybody outside, "How'd they get by? WHO PUSHED ME OUT OF THE WAY?" And my voice that's never been trained by the world that doesn't know the voice of anything else except the father cuz all life comes from God. MY VOICE SAYS, "SORRY GUYS, I WAS PREDESTINED BEFORE THE FOUNDATION of the world. Now I'm going to be in that womb for 9 months or so. And when I come out, I'm born in sin." Are you Are you hearing me? I'm born in sin. So I'm brought up with the way that seems right. I'm brought up with a way that's right in

the world. And James 3 calls it the worldly wisdom. The worldly wisdom is sensual. It's demonic. It's full of self-seeking and envy and all confusion and every evil thing are inside of that place. All of us were cultivated by that same thing. If the word of God isn't in you and the spirit hasn't breathed on it, what happens is you're relying on worldly wisdom. And we live our life that way. When you get born again, it is essential to unlock your potential. When you get born again, it is essential. Now you have the beginning part. Your spirit is rejuvenated and now you have the ability to hunger and thirst for righteousness. Or you will continue

to hunger and thirst for selfserving, selfseeking, envy, and all confusion is there. So you are faced with a decision. You're now born again. It's essential to unlock your potential. And now your future depends upon your hunger. So now Jesus said, you can love the world or you can love God. You can love money or you can love God. You can't love both. We are grown up loving the world. We are we are raised with loving the world. Believe it or not, Satan is the god of this world, the prince and poverty of the earth. He is the prince of the air. He is the god of this world still. In order for you to come

out from under that, you have to see that the truth in scripture is what you really need. And you have to be not conformed with this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. And you have to spend time with God and allow the word to change your thought life. >> If you do not allow the world to the word to change your thought life, you will have the world continue to build its throne upon your soul. >> Your heart's for Jesus, but your throne of your soul belongs to the world. That's in Jesus incorporated. That's people that come to church and they separate the sacred from the secular. And church is sacred,

but everything else is secular. >> And that's tragedy because your life belongs to God. Colossians 3:17 says, "Whatever you do in word or deed, do it as unto the Lord and not for people." That means that when I go to Walmart, I'm doing it unto the Lord. When I go to Burger King, I'm not having it my way. I'm having it his way. >> I'm serious. When I go to church, I'm going to church under the Lord. >> When I am in my house, I'm doing my marriage as unto the Lord. When I'm a father to my kids, I'm fathering my kids as unto the Lord. Everything in your life, your life has been purchased

by the blood of Jesus. You do not belong to you anymore. You belong to somebody else. You've been purchased with the blood. Well, I've done this. No, that is self-seeking. I'm serious. I need what you have. Self-seeking envy. It's the wisdom of the world. It's sensual and demonic. Come on. It's no good. It's demonic strategy set up to get you to incorporate Jesus in and live like hell. That baby crying >> is what we need to be with Jesus. I'll use anything for the gospel and they're not a distraction. Kids aren't a distraction. Crying babies aren't a distraction. Jesus is my focus. Jesus said, "Let the little children come under me." He didn't say, "Shut

up that crying baby." He said, "It's just blocking me. It's a distraction." No. Come on. Stop it. Knock it off. You okay? Look, the baby stopped. Oh, there it is again. Sorry. I love this. So, so my parents got divorced. I freaked out. I started to party. I started to get high. I started to use drugs. Just I started to get messed up. Just messed up because my brain was constantly thinking about stuff all the time. It was mostly worry. Do you realize that guilt, shame, condemnation, regret? >> Do you understand that fear, all that stuff comes from the demonic realm? >> Are you with me? The law came through Moses, but grace and truth

came through Jesus. >> Moses in second Corinthians chapter 3, Moses was given the ministry of condemn. Can you imagine being rewarded the ministry of condemnation? How many of you want that? I would love the ministry of condemnation. Don't raise your hand. The law came through Moses. Ten commandments, 613 laws. In order for you to be right with God, you have to obey everyone without missing any. Cuz if you miss one, you transgress them all. >> So that's the ministry of condemnation. The law, like trying to follow the law just stirs up stuff inside of you and you realize, oh my gosh. But grace and truth came through Jesus. >> He came to establish something called

a covenant. We had a covenant with Moses. Moses, God made this guy. You guys okay? Come on. I got time. So, I just My flight was delayed. So, I got time. I don't have to run up out of here. Just let me teach. Let me pour out my heart for a little bit. Are you guys okay? >> I don't have a time limit. I just want to go after Jesus with all my heart. So, Moses was given the Ten Commandments by God. You remember that? He went up on the mountain, came down, they're doing stuff they shouldn't do, worshiping a golden calf. Moses throws the commandments down. He goes back up, gets the new, gets

the same commandments, comes back down. The commandments, it says that the law was a tutor to show us our need for a savior. >> God did not want to go through Moses. God wanted to go straight to the people. >> And on Mount Si, God came down, thundered the commandments, and the people were afraid and said, "Moses, you talk to God, and we'll listen to you." They did not listen to Moses. They actually complained and grumbled the whole time. They did not just listen to Moses. God didn't want it that way. God wanted relationship with his kids. The kids chose Moses. Moses. Moses gets the law. Now, God made a covenant with man. So, man's

end of that covenant had to be fulfilled. And the only way to fulfill that is to walk out all the laws and all the commandments without ever missing it. I'm just briefly just sum up the cross just real quick. So Moses was given the ministry of condemnation because the wages of sin is death. But the gift of eternal life came through Jesus Christ. >> Are you with me? You sin, you die. So Jesus lives this life. He is fully God and fully man. >> Jesus was fully God. He never stopped being God. But when he came to the earth in order for man's covenant to be fulfilled, Jesus had to live in his humanity also.

So he was fully God and fully man. But he laid aside his right to be God when he was here. He humbled himself, became a bondervant, and was tempted at all points yet without sin. Why did he do that? So it's it's like it's a big deal. I have to know why he did that for me. me. I had to know why he did that. For you, you need to know why he did that. Why did Jesus live in his humanity as well and being God at the same time? How did he do that? He humbled himself, became a bondervant, was tempted at all points. The word of God says that you cannot tempt God.

God cannot be tempted. Are you with me? Jesus was tempted at all points. Why? Because he was only tempted in his humanity. >> Yes, sir. Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary. Why? Because he had to have humanity. >> Fully the son of God. People persecute me for this, but if you just read Philippians 2, you'd actually understand it. After the Holy Spirit to reveal it to you. So here's the deal. So Jesus is tempted in his humanity. Did he ever sin? >> Ever. Jesus was tempted at 613 laws and ten commandments and never missed one of them. So watch this. He lives his whole life. This is crazy. He gets to the cross. Why

the cross? Why did Jesus have to hang on a cross? God made covenant with the Hebrews and what he said is cursed is anything that hangs on a tree. Look in the wilderness. Moses is in the wilderness and do you remember the time when vipers were destroying and killing the Israelites, killing them. And Moses went to God and said, "God, like we repent. Like what do we do here?" And God said, "Take a s take a bronze serpent and hang it on a pole." Why? Because the Hebrews knew that anything that hanged on a pole was cursed by God. >> I want you to pay attention. This is really valuable stuff. So he takes a

serpent, he hangs it on a pole. Do you understand that our medical symbol? >> Watch this. So what was killing the people that was inside the snake? venom. So the venom that was killing the people, the Hebrews knew that when they looked at that, they couldn't die from the venom. So it rendered the venom powerless. >> That's right, sir. >> Because cursed is anything that hangs on a tree. The Romans knew that God cursed on a tree. Whoa, I disappeared. You guys still here? All right. The Romans knew that God cursed anything that hangs on a tree. So, they chose that form of death for Jesus because they would believe he's cursed. But what did

God do on that tree? He cursed sin in the flesh. >> What does that mean for us? That means that sin shall no longer have dominion in you when you become born again. >> Reckon yourself dead to sin. Does that mean you don't have the ability to sin? No. You have the ability to do it. But when your mind gets renewed and you fall in love with God, you just don't want to anymore. So just like God cursed that venom and it couldn't kill him, Jesus who knew no sin became sin so that we might become the righteousness of God that's in Christ Jesus. Watch this. This is so good. So Jesus Christ who never

sinned, who never missed it, they hang him on a tree. And on that tree, the reality of the wages of sin is death. Jesus never sinned. But since he became sin, he had to die. But watch this. The devil didn't know there was going to be a resurrection. See, that might not be exciting to you, but when the cross becomes your everything, when you start seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, the kingdom of God's not meat or drink, but it is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. So, the kingdom is in the Holy Spirit. People like, I don't like Holy Ghost. Okay, Holy Spirit. King James, Holy Ghost. New King

James, Holy Spirit. Pick one. Either way, he's the same person. Are you with me? >> This is such a big deal. And for a person like me, I need to understand. You can't afford to sing the song, I'll never know how much it costs. >> Why? Because when I sing that song, I'm saying I'll never really know my value. >> In the world, the price that you pay for something determines it value. God so loved the that he gave his >> only son. So what did God think about the world? He said the value of each individual on this planet I believe is worth the price of my one and only son. >> So when

you see the cross, you don't see your failures, your shortcomings. When you see the cross, you're supposed to see your value. Underneath of that sin of something is something of great importance. For heaven to have went bankrupt to get it back. >> For one person to clap is not good enough. Your life. Come on. What is the number one thing the devil worers to people? You're worthless. >> Why? Because the devil's worthless. >> He's worthless. Depressed, angry, bitter, ashamed, afraid, and today might be trumpet time. So, what's he trying to do? He's trying to reproduce his mindset in every Christian on the planet. >> Yes, sir. >> I'm I'm so serious. He is trying to

reproduce the way that he thinks inside of you. >> What does the Bible say about being free? Whom the >> is free? >> What does Jesus say? Then they will know the >> and the truth will. >> Do you know how many people believe that you can't be free till you get to heaven? If that's true, then death is your savior and Jesus isn't anymore. >> Do you really think that heaven is when you can be free? Jesus didn't pay a price for you to be free when you get to heaven. Paid a price for you to be free here and live in the liberty of the gospel and to absolutely go after him. The

Lord is the spirit. And where the spirit of the Lord is, there is the spirit of the Lord is. Come on, the Lord is the spirit. It's in Come on. It's in It's in Are you guys with me? >> 2 Corinthians chapter 3:1 17. The Lord is the spirit and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is. >> And we all with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord. Why? Because Christ in you is the hope of glory. When you look in the mirror, you should see him staring back at you. Come on. He came to set up camp inside OF YOU. THERE'S NO OTHER BELIEF SYSTEM ON THE

PLANET WHERE THE GOD THAT THEY SERVE COMES TO LIVE INSIDE OF THEM. NOTHING LIKE IT. EVERY OTHER GOD YOU HAVE TO PREPARE A TABLE FOR. OUR GOD PREPARES A TABLE FOR US in the midst of our enemies. >> GOD IS FAITHFUL. HE'S OUR KING AND HE LOVES YOU. He loves you. HE LOVES YOU. YEAH, but I KEEP MESSING UP. HE LOVES YOU. HE LOVE. YEAH, BUT I KEEP MAKING MISTAKES. YOU'RE NOT PERFECT. ONLY JESUS WAS PERFECT. COME TO HIM. STOP RUNNING AWAY FROM THE FATHER AND RUN TO HIM. RUN TO THE FATHER. WHAT ARE WE SO AFRAID OF? WE'RE AFRAID OF MAN. WE'RE AFRAID OF LOOKING LIKE A FOOL. >> The fear of man is

a snare. >> WHO CARES WHAT PEOPLE THINK ABOUT YOU? >> GO AFTER GOD WHOLEHEARTEDLY. THE WORLD'S WAITING FOR THE REAL CHRISTIAN TO STEP FORWARD. It's time for us to really say we believe, but really WALK OUT WHAT WE SAY WE BELIEVE. >> AMEN. >> Guess what the mission of the Christian is? It's not to get to heaven. >> That's right. Yes, sir. >> That's the destination of a Christian. >> The mission of a Christian is 1 John 3:8. Destroy the works of the devil. destroy the works of the devil. You guys all right? Some of you are like, >> I'm wild. I was wild for the devil. I didn't realize that I was being led

around as a slave to sin. I didn't know there was a slave master. I had no idea. I didn't know. I didn't know a sin was sin. I didn't have any Christians around me. 34 years, no one ever told me about Jesus. No one shared the good news. See, the problem is is we don't even believe the good news. >> Because if you believe the good news, your whole life will change. What is the good news? The good news is that your sins and your lawless deeds, God remembers no more. Do you know how hard that is to get people to believe that? Do you know how many Christians that I talk to on a

daily? I have a Bible. I have a Bible college. They they showed you that video. We actually train people. We're a fully accredited Bible college. We're training people. I take the worst of the worst. Like the guy at the gatherings. Come on, be a part of my school. Oh man. You know why? Cuz all you got to do is clean the house. >> Clean the house. Kick the devil out and train them who they really are. Those people will take a bullet for the gospel any day. It don't matter. You say what you want to say. I'm going to go after Jesus. Yeah. Well, we're just upset with you. Oh, sorry. I'm going after Jesus.

Yeah, but you're just a little too much. They said that to me. They told me 22 years ago, you can't burn like this, buddy. Listen, >> you got to You're going to have to simmer down because you can't you can't live this way. It's been 22 years. You're wrong. You're wrong because life doesn't determine my fire. Life doesn't determine my fire. The blood of Jesus determines my fire. And Jesus never changed. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. >> You are called to shine. You're called to blaze a trail. You are the light of the world. You're a city on a hill. >> Imagine if you believe that you were the light of the world.

What does darkness have on light? >> Darkness can't even touch light unless you're wearing a basket on your head. >> If you're the only person that knows you're a Christian at your workplace, something might be messed up. You might be living with the fear of man and you say, "Well, I'm not an evangel an evangelist." Are you a Christian? >> Are you a believer? >> Do you really believe? >> If you're a believer that believes, see, you can be a an unbelieving believer where you believe enough to get to heaven, but not enough for heaven to get into you. >> You can go through life and believe that one day you're going to get to

heaven, but you're kind of weirded out by that whole Holy Spirit thing. And you might be freaked out by the whole charismatic thing. Like, ah, just not charismatic. Man, if I put you in a car and someone cuts you off, you be as charismatic for the devil as ever. Or put you in a baseball game that your son's playing, I promise you, you're charismatic. You don't just go, "Good job, son. Come on, ref. I've seen y'all." Come on. Put somebody in a football game. >> You don't even have to add alcohol. Just put a Christian in a football game that's passive at church. I promise you, you see everything else but passivity. You see passion.

You see drive. You see go golfing with Christians. You see the craziest of stuff. Breaking a club, throwing a club. Like what's wrong with you? Y'all go golfing with pastors just to check their fruit. We're supposed to be different, man. But it all starts with righteousness. It starts with being in love with Jesus. It starts with knowing that you're loved by him. It starts with getting rid of all the guilt, all the shame, all the condemnation. Getting that stuff out and believing that the blood of Jesus is enough. That the renewal of the mind is the focus. That the love of the father, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and communion with the Holy

Spirit is the absolute necessity for your life. God has thoughts and plans for you. plans to prosper you, not to harm you. Come on, this is a big deal. So, I ended up getting put in a home in a children's home after my parents got divorced. I could share my testimony for six hours if I need to cuz there's all kinds of scriptures that are available in that word. But I got put into a place my mom and dad got divorced and my mom was struggling. She had three jobs. Dad wasn't providing. He wasn't paying child support, none of that stuff. It was just a mess. My dad was messed up from Vietnam. He didn't

have it all together. He wasn't a Christian and he was trying to get it all together, but he never really recovered, man. He served two tours in NM and he was messed up. Like he was just messed up. He tried to be the best dad he could, but he didn't know the father. So what could he give me? So I get put into a place called the Masonic Homes and the Masons raised me from 12 to about 16 and a half uh 7 uh 11 and 1/2 to 16 and 1/2. So then I get kicked out of there. I became full-on drug addict at 12 years old. I came out of there. I came home.

My stepdad, my mom had married and I was really not going to listen to another man try to tell me he's my father. And he tried to be my father and that wasn't going to work. So I got kicked out of the house. It's either him or me, you know, all that. So I ended up joining the Marine Corps on a dare. My stepdad said, "You could never be a real man cuz real men are Marines." I said, "I'll show you." And I went and signed up for the Marine Corps with a serious rebellion issue. No authority. It's not a good idea. Not at all. Actually, I went to boot camp at Paris Island and

I mouththed off the whole time. And if you mouth off, they PT you extremely. Anybody ex-Marine Marines here? Serrify. I didn't do well, but Serify always faithful. But I just, man, I just I I lost 76 lbs in 13 weeks in boot camp. They didn't let me eat and they pted me. I just was able to eat meat and vegetables and water. It was intense. Anybody that's ever been through boot camp, it's intense. And if you mouth off, it becomes more intense. And so I came out of boot camp, everything, everybody thought I changed. And man, I came home and when I went back to base, I found out that these guys drink. And so

I'm like, "Oh yes, I know how to do that." So, I started drinking again, started partying again. So, I'm going to pop on a P test. So, I know I got to get out of here cuz they're just going to bust me anyway. So, I went awall, ran away, went out to Colorado, and hid in the mountains. Living the dream. It was really a nightmare. Ended up getting busted, got put in jail, got extradited across the America, got put orange jumpsuit, shackles, brought back across, got put in military prison. I'm there and they slap me on the wrist. Give me five and a half months in there. And they said, "Don't do it again." They

took away my rank. I graduated lens corporal. I ended up a private after that bout in the break. They took away my pay, docked me, barrack detail. I said, "I don't want to stay here." They said, "Well, I mean, you're government property. You signed up for 6 years." Bummer. I'm leaving. So, I went awall again, ran away. It's called unauthorized absence. I was stuck on stupid because I went to the same place I got arrested last time. I went straight out to Colorado again. Hid in the mountains by hid for 11 and a half months. I did a long time that time, but I got busted again. You ain't running forever. I was walking on

eggshells, you know. Ended up getting put in jail. Got extradited the second time. Crossed the US. Got put in military prison. I'm like just you reap what you sow. And that was what was happening. I had no idea about the Bible. I had no idea about Christians. I didn't grow up with that. No one told me about God. And ended up getting kicked out of the Marines. Got a bad conduct discharge. They called a big chicken dinner. I come out. Now I've got this on my record. Now I'm like, okay. Like, you got to lie to get jobs, whatever. Then I get a few felonies, four, three misdemeanors, $14,000 in court costs from the bounty

hunter fees that I have to pay back. I'm stuck. And this is not a good way to start out your life. And so I actually have a lifetime subscription to issues. I'm serious. And I don't know how to shake any of them. Drugs, alcohol, porn, porn from eight, drugs from 12. Just messed up. So, I end up trying to straighten things out and get a job, get fired. Get a job, get fired. Get a job, quit her, get fired. Same thing. And I meet this girl in a bar on a blind date. And I'm like, I'mma have her. I'm going to get that girl. And so, I did. I pursued her. My actually my my

girl said I stalked her. And so, we end up, her mom ends up letting me live in the basement of their house and move in together. And I'm telling you, no Christianity all the way through. Whole family. Her whole family. My whole family. So I end up she gets pregnant a year and a half later we're giving birth to this kid and I have no idea what it means to be a father. So my baby was born and I just have no grid for this thing and I don't know how to I don't know how to do this. And so I became drunk all the time, drugs all the time. Just it was even worse

than it was before. Now I'm hearing voices say, "Kill yourself. Be done. You'll never be a father." And I want to I'm literally wanting to kill myself constantly. And like it's amazing that no one interrupted my path. No one told me about the gospel. Nobody told me the good news. And I'm as messed up as possible. I mean, I'm messed up. I'm like least likely to succeed. I've got quite a record. And I just keep making it worse, making it worse. And I'm not paying my fines. And so they're warrants, all that stuff, man. Like crazy. So my daughter grows up for seven years with this dad. I never ever physically abused. That wasn't my

thing. I think it was drug abuse. I just was constantly messing up. So, seven years in, I come back after a cocaine binge and my girlfriend had taken my daughter and left. So, I'm like, that's it. My daughter left a note saying, "We're at mom grandma's house. Mommy said she's never coming home. Daddy, I'm sorry. I'm going to miss you." So, I'm like, you know what? I can't fix this no more. I'm done. I don't want to be this anymore. I went over to this house to get a rifle, went back to the gun cabinet, and I passed by a phone book that was on the mantle. I flipped the phone book open, and it

flips to churches in the yellow pages. Now, I'm not a church guy. I'm not a I'm just not a believer at all. And I'm like, "This is so stupid." I ended up making a check at one of the 586 churches. And I drove to this church and I met a man named Dan Mohler. I come into the church and he starts telling me about Jesus. I said, "I didn't come here to hear about Jesus." He said, "This is a church, but I have no grid for God. And I have no idea that he would be in a church." Cuz to me, every person that went to church was a hypocrite in my eyes. That God

was just after your money. Like the things that the world thinks, you know, and don't let that be the case in your life. And so, I'm just I'm not doing well. And Dan's sharing with me and I SHARED ALL MY STUFF. I JUST KIND OF THREW IT UP ALL ON HIM. I never did that before with anybody. I'm like, I don't even know why I'm telling you this. He said, "Man, look, can I share something with you?" And he shared his testimony. And I looked at him. I said, "You're a liar, dude. That's not you. You're lying." Cuz the stuff he shared with me, that is not the man that's sitting in front of me.

He's like, "No, no, no. I'm serious. That guy died." I'm like, "Come on, bro. You're right in FRONT OF ME. YOU DIDN'T DIE." He goes, "No, that man did." I'm like, "What are you talking about? I don't know Christian language. I don't know scripture. I don't know new creation. I don't know crucified with Christ, no longer. I don't know any of that stuff." But he said, "I'm telling you, God gave me this is the new man that you see." I'm like, he said, "Listen, since you don't want your life, why don't you give it to somebody that does?" Here's the problem. Why would God want this? If God was real, why would he want me?

I had no idea what grace was. I had no understanding of that. I had no biblical teaching, no understanding. So, finally, he keeps pushing it. Why don't you give your life to God since you don't want it? God wants your life. Fine. If he wants it, he can have it. There, I did it. Are you happy? He said, "Amen." I said, "What is amen?" He goes, "It means so be it." You know what I thought? That was when Soie drinks were out. I'm like, "So be? What is that? Makes no sense." He's like, "Here's my number. You're going to need it." I don't need your number. I'm good. He goes, "Please take it." He goes,

"I want to help you." I didn't ever have anybody in my life want to help me because I stole from everybody, hurt everybody, burned everybody. I didn't trust anybody and no one trusted me for good reasons. So, I ended up leaving that day and I went to my house and the first thing that I noticed is that I don't want to kill myself. It's weird. The the want to kill yourself thing ended. I get to my house and my daughter's gone, but I know where she's at. So, I call my girlfriend's mama's house and she answers the phone, my little sevenyear-old kid. I said, "Hey, baby." She goes, "Daddy, mommy's never coming home. I'm so

sorry, daddy. I'm going to miss you. How am I going to see you? She's crying on the phone. I said, "It's okay. You need to tell mommy that daddy found God." You know what my daughter said? "What's he like, Dad?" You know what I said? I don't know. Cuz I had no idea. But something was different about Dan. >> His eyes. There was something different in his eyes. My Bible and your Bible says, and I know it's in the context of money, if the eye is single, your whole body will be full of light. But if the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness? And then it says, you can't

serve two masters. You can either serve God or serve money. If we knew who God was, money would serve God. >> I just didn't understand any of that stuff. Oh, you kick and scream, baby. You can do whatever you got to do. You get mama to come home. As soon as I prayed with Dan, on my way home, maybe this Jesus will get my girlfriend to come home. I'm serious. You know what that is? Manipulation. That's what I've been raised with, buddy. That's all I know. My mind has known manipulation. Get your way. Like, oh, I found God. She's going to come home. So, I told my daughter to kick and scream and hung up

the phone. So, man, girlfriend comes home. I can't believe you're going to do this. You're such a liar. Now, you're going to be a holy rolling hypocrite. Never would never be a hypocrite. I'M TELLING YOU, EVERYTHING'S GOING to change. That was my famous statement. Everything's going to change, man. Without Jesus, nothing changes. >> But it's not Jesus incorporated that changes it. It's Jesus surrendered that changes it. >> Does. So my girlfriend comes home and I am the singer in a band. I'm the front singer guy. I'm a rock band. I'm like wild. We're playing at bars like my guys, they're my best friends, you know, and we're parters and everything. And man, that that first

night I ended, you know, I'm I'm like everything's gonna change, you know? I'm on a crackb the first night because God didn't say go into all the world, make confessing Christians. He said, "Go into all the world and make disciples." >> I didn't understand any of that stuff. I just knew that I incorporated Jesus in to get my girl back. And that first night, I'm on a coke bench. I come home and she goes, "I knew you, LUSH, YOU'RE SUCH A LIAR. YOU DID IT AGAIN. I CALLED DAN. Girlfriend's raging. I said, "Hey, YOU HEAR THAT? YOUR JESUS DON'T WORK." Dan's like, "Uh, Todd, what do you mean Jesus doesn't work? What happened?" My girlfriend's

like, "I'm so sick of you in the background." Dan's like, "Todd, how do you feel right now?" Oh, that's not a good thing to ask somebody when they're raging like that. I said, "What do you mean, HOW DO I FEEL?" I DID IT AGAIN. I STOLE OUR MONEY. I DID IT AGAIN. HE SAID, "TODD, aren't you glad?" I'm like, "What do you mean? AM I NOT AM I GLAD?" HE SAID, "TWO DAYS AGO, YOU WOULDN'T EVEN have cared. Thank God there's a seed growing in your heart." That's what he said. I threw the phone and it was a stretchy cord phone. Remember them? They had the long cord you and it stretches but then it

has to come back. It was just like a boomerang, man. I threw it. MAKE IT GROW FASTER. BOOM. It almost hit me. I was so mad. Man, I was so mad. I didn't understand what it meant to renew your mind. I didn't know what it meant to be able to get in the Bible. I was trying to ride on Dan's faith. But the next night, it's band practice. The guys are coming over my house to be in my basement to play music. I'm a singer. We've wrote all original songs. I mean, we were pretty good, but really bad cuz it was not Christian music. It was demonic, crazy. And uh all the guys come over

like, "Guys, guess what?" They're like, "What's up, buddy?" I said, they're like, "What's going on, man? Why are you so happy?" Cuz I'm usually not happy. I said, "I gave my life to Jesus." On the microphone, I gave my life to Jesus. They're like, "Shut up, dude. Like, knock it off. You did you you Yeah. Come on. Give me a break, dude." I'm like, "No, I'm serious, man. I gave my life to Jesus. I went and met this pastor." They go, "You you didn't go to You didn't go to one of them churches, did you?" I said, "Oh, yeah, man. I met this pastor. You guys got to meet him." Dude, shut up, man. Don't

say that. And they were not using just the word shut up. There were many other adjectives and adverbs involved. And I said, "Man, I'm telling you, man." They're like, "Man, shut up." And they handed me a big joint. And I'm like, "Jesus loves you guys so much." And I'm I'm partying. I'm I don't know any better. Like, I'm serious. I got this name of Jesus, but I have no grit for it at all. And I'm getting high. The only grit I had was Dan. And how am I going to get to where you are? You know, I mean, he was so was so far removed from my life. So, I'm partying with them. That first

night, they're like, "Don't say it again." At the end of practice, I'M LIKE, "JESUS, JESUS, JESUS." SORRY, little kids are covering their ears. I apologize. But all the guys bailed except for one. One of them stayed. He was like my best friend in the world. He was my guitar player. This guy could play Joe Satriani. How many of you guys remember a guy named Yingve Mount? He could play it all. He could play Yingve. That's like impossible. with his eyes closed, arpeggios, and he trained himself. He's a self-taught guy. This guy had an accident when he was like, I think he was 12 or 13 years old. He was riding his bike down a hill

and the park had put a chain across and he hit the he hit the chain and it ripped his intestines out. So, he had surgery and everything, but he had a lawsuit where he was inheriting millions when he turned 18. So, this guy is set, man. He has it all. He's got two kids, three and a halfyear-old, 7 and a half year old kid. He's a great dad. He doesn't have the problems I have. He gets high, but he's not like a coke addict and all that stuff. I mean, he's just a nice guy. And when I told the guys about Jesus, he's the only one that didn't fight me. He was pretty passive. But

he said, "Hey, man." He goes, "Bro, everybody left except him." I said, "Are you going to stay?" He said, "You're my only friend, bro. Of course I'm staying." I said, "Man, that's awesome. Cool. I had no grit for it. Please don't be offended. I really live this way. But I need you to relate because I live that life. >> I live that life. It's not like I I mean I just didn't know what it meant to surrender. And so I'm getting high with Bobby. He goes, "You found your path. I got mine, bro." How many of you got friends in your life that you got your path, they got theirs? You need more friends because

we're supposed to be an influence on those people. But I was not an influence on Bobby. Matter of fact, next band practice I'm gone from a crack binge. He hears me fighting upstairs screaming at my girlfriend. I punched a hole in the wall in the door. Was a trailer. It was easy to go through the door. It was paneling, you know. I come down, my hands bleeding. I come down in there. I said, "Jesus loves you, man." He goes, "Bro, I just like I could hear you upstairs. Like, listen, why don't you drop the whole Jesus thing cuz like it ain't working, dude. You're just like every other Christian out there." That's what he said.

I said, "What do you mean?" He goes, "Bro, you you got this name, but your life is worse than what it was. Come on, man. Just drop the Jesus thing." I'm like, "I can't, man. You got to meet this pastor." He goes, "I don't meet no pastor. You shown me all the God that I need to see. Come on, let's play." So, we would play. I ignore it. I'm partying. I'm drinking. I'm partying. Man, it got worse and worse. I'm not showing up for band practice on Coke binge. Just messed up. I would call Dan every day. I'd say, "I did it again. It's okay, Todd. You know how much God loves you? this is

what he says about you and he'd just speak truth in me. He'd love me, wouldn't let go, wouldn't turn his back. You know how many people can't do that because that's just too much. I'm done. And we cut people off. >> Listen, there are people out there that need the gospel and they need to see your surrendered life. And part of the surrendered life is loving your neighbor. If your neighbor doesn't know who they are, that doesn't mean you cut them off. That means you live as an example and you provide grace to those that need it. Don't expect them to just walk everything out and be perfect. You were never perfect. But Dan wouldn't

let go. I mean, I I'm freaking out, cussing, freaking out. It's okay, Todd. This is what God says, man. I know you keep saying it. He goes, "Have you read this? It's hard for me, man. I just I don't understand. I'll just listen to you." You can't just listen to somebody. You got to connect with God through surrender. You got to let that word train your heart. And so Dan's telling me and telling me and tell me. He just never let go of me. And I'm messing up. I'm going to church. It's crazy. I hear worship and I'm a singer in a band. You know, I got this. Exalt me. That's not the song. That's

not the song. It's the But I was singing to draw attention to me. And I'm I love worship. A amazing grace. How sweet the sound that has saved her. like me. I once was lost but now I'm found. Was blind but now I see. HEY. YEAH. YEAH. Now it's from the heart. Now it's from the truth. Now it's with the Holy Ghost, but then it was performance. Look at me. Oh, you have a gift. Man, I'm glad they didn't pick me. Oh my gosh, I would have messed everything up. So, I'd lived this way for 5 and a half months. I jacked it up trying to witness to Bobby. Trying to Man, get He's just

He's real, man. You got to come meet this pastor, bro. You show me all the Jesus I need to see. If he was real, wouldn't your life be changed? If he was real, wouldn't something be different? If he was real, wouldn't you stop fighting with your girlfriend? If he was real, wouldn't you be a better dad? All that stuff he had. And he had me. It was true. It was real. WHAT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND IS your life is a pulpit. People look at you and wonder if the real Jesus is the real Jesus. And you might be the only representative of that Jesus that they see. And I had no idea the VALUE OF WHAT

IT MEANT TO BE THE LIGHT CUZ I was in darkness and I was absolutely depressed and I was I was messed up and I never opened this cuz I couldn't read. I couldn't read. I mean I could read but I'd forget everything I wrote I read. So I'd read a chapter be like I'd be drive I'd be riding my bike. I'd be reading and I'd be I'd be d It's like when you drive somewhere and you don't even know how you got there but you got there. That's what my reading was like. It was crazy. I was trying to get it, but I couldn't get it. And I didn't understand that this word is alive.

I didn't get it. So, five and a half months go by. I go out one night after going to church and living. All the church knew that I was a hypocrite. The only one that stood by me was Dan. My daughter's daddy, you promised you'd never do it again. You did it again. My girlfriend's like, "You know what? You're such a lying hypocrite." I mean, I gave her the worst example of what a Christian could be. I go out one night and I pick up a kid. We lived in York, Pennsylvania. I picked up some kid off East Maple Street. Some New York City drug dealer on the corner. Got him in my car, asked

him what he had on him. I got two eight balls of crack cocaine in my hand. I told him I was a cop. Read him his rights. Told me I had the right to remain silent. I said, you know, and I I read him his rights, came across around the corner. I said, "Get out of the car and put your hands on the hood." And so I did. He took his leg. He crossed out of the car. Next leg, I hit the gas. The door slammed shut. He spun around and emptied a 9 millimeter from 10 feet away. And when the bullets came out, a voice said, an audible voice. This is the goodness of

God. Is that me? Okay. Sorry. Add in the spirit. Sorry. The voice said, "I took those bullets for you. Are you ready to live for me yet?" Watch. I figured I'm shot. I'm going to die. I might as well do this cocaine anyway. You think you would have stopped with that voice? No. Drug addiction knows no end. So, I went and smoked two eight balls of crack cocaine. And every hit I took off that pipe, the voice killed my buzz and said, "I took those bullets for you. Are you ready yet?" I pulled into my driveway petrified. I got into where the bullets hit. I looked at my car. Not one scratch on my car.

Full 9 mm. 10 ft away. You weren't in the vehicle. I was. Nothing. flashes a light went through the vehicle. I'm in Texas. If you shoot at somebody with a 9 millimeter from 10 feet, you're hitting something. How many of you believe you might hit something? Come on. How many of you are carrying right now? I'm just kidding. No, I'm not really. Like, it'd be foolish for someone to come up in with a gun with the wrong cause. There'd be about a hundred lay people. Bang. Sorry. Like, gee, I'm sorry. And Midland just had that rough shooting. I'm not trying to be funny about that cuz that's tragedy. But that was my mindset. That's the

way I thought my whole life. I just never pulled the trigger. Are you hearing me? I never pulled the trigger. But I thought that way all the time cuz if it ever went down, that's what I was going to do. Never did. But God. So I come home that night. I looked at my car. There's not one bullet hole in my car. I'm petrified. I went to the door. My girlfriend's there sleeping on the couch with my girl. I open the door. Try to get in silently. I HATE YOU. GET OUT OF MY LIFE. FIGHT YOU. I'M SO SCARED. I I I said, "I I got to go." MY DAUGHTER, "DADDY, DON'T GO." I LEFT.

I went to Dan's. I said, "Dude, I just got shot at, man. God spoke to me. I heard God's voice. What happened?" I told him, he goes, "Todd, that's God. Todd, you heard the audible voice? You need help?" I said, "I need help, man. What do I do?" He said, "Remember that place, Teen Challenge, you went to two weeks ago to look at?" I said, "I I I would never go there. Those people are crazy." I did. And I said, "There's no way." But I'm like, "I got to go." So he called up there and that they were going to let a bed open for me in 3 days. >> So I 3 days. So

man, I I I called my friend Bobby, my best friend, the next day. I said, "Bro," I said, "I got shot at last night." He goes, "Are you hit? Are you in the hospital? What happened?" I told him. He said, "Todd, you're hearing voices." I said, "No, you don't understand." Like like the guy was point blank right outside of my car. He goes, "Todd, the guy was a bad shot." I said, "No, you don't. you don't get it. Like this is real. Anyway, I'm going to rehab like you suggested. He goes, "Man, you need help. I'll see you in a month." I said, "Man, it's not like that. It's it's a year program. I I'm

not allowed to even talk to you." A year program? What kind of It's a prison. I said, "No, they don't even talk about drugs, man. They don't talk about 12 steps. They talk about Jesus. Don't you realize Jesus isn't real? Why would you throw your family away? Are you kidding me? What does your girlfriend have to say about this? She hates me. She wants me gone." Well, you've heard her a lot. What are you going to do about your kid? Like, no one just leaves their kid. I said, I I got to know God, man. I He You're going to go away and throw our relationship away all because you're going to go and try

to believe in a God that doesn't exist. How has HE HELPED YOU? WHAT HAS HE DONE in your life? I said, "Man, it's me." He goes, "No, you don't understand. You got to find the power within. You got to do this. You got to strengthen yourself." Like all about self-help. I said, "Dude, I'm leaving." in in in two days. Is there any way that I can get together with you? He goes, "No, we we can't get together, but man, I can't believe you're doing this, man. When I get back, will you play music with me?" He goes, "You're my only friend. Of course, I'll be back. I'll be there." I said, "Man, I just love

you so much. I can't talk to you, man. I'll try to call you right before I leave." Okay, awesome. So, made the plans to go to Teen Challenge. I'm about to lose my girl, lose my daughter, lose my my band relationship with Bobby, but I'm going to gain Jesus. If you seek to save your life, you'll lose it. But if you lose your life for his sake, you find it. I don't know what that means, but I know it's true. So, I went to Teen Challenge. My girlfriend's glad I'm leaving. My daughter's sad I'm leaving. And uh I called Bobby on the way up to try to say goodbye and just left a message on

his answer machine. I go to Teen Challenge and I had dreadlocks before in the band. I shaved my head. I went into Teen Challenge. I'm like, I'm done. Like I'm done, God. I got to I got to find you. I didn't understand. I just got to find you. I went to Teen Challenge. Three days into Teen Challenge, I get a phone call from Pastor Dan and the counselors brought me in. They go, "Hey man, you need to talk to pastor, man. Just sit down." And I'm thinking, "Oh my god, they found my girl. Like they they hurt my daughter. Like these drug dealers. I'm only 6 milesi from town. I ripped so many off. Like

they found her. He goes, "It's not your girl. It's not your daughter." He said, "It's your friend Bobby." I said, "What do you mean?" He said, "When you left to Teen Challenge, Bobby had a brain aneurysm." They found him on the floor of his kitchen. Okay. What's that? He said, "He's in a coma." I said, 'What do you mean? I don't understand healing. I don't understand nothing. I'm like, "No, no, no, no, no. Not Bobby. He goes, "Yeah, I'm so sorry, Todd." I said, "No." And I started streaming and I'm cuz that was my only friend, the only one that stayed with me, even though he didn't believe what I believed. And I didn't show

him what I believed. I ran upstairs to the prayer room. I'm screaming and FREAKING OUT, "NOT BOBBY." AND peace that surpasses understanding hit me in the prayer room. First time in my life. He said, "You're not going anywhere." And I stayed. I was so undone. And man, I just went, I got to I got to find God. I got to find God. I got to find God. I got to find God. I've lost everything. I lost my daughter. Lost my girl, lost my guitar player. I like I lost everything. I got to find God. I didn't realize that Jesus has the ability of cancing your lifetime subscription to issues. >> So, I'm a month and

a half into this thing. I woke up an hour early every day to seek God when nobody was seeking him before the day even started cuz I needed cuz Dan told me if you go into your closet and you meet with the father. Now when I went in the closet there wasn't like God was there. I'm here. I didn't feel him or hear him. None of that. I just got into the word and I didn't understand it. I saw the scripture in uh saw a scripture in James says if you lack wisdom ask God. First time I ever like something made sense. I went that's it. I'm wisdomless. I I I'm not kidding you. It

looked LIKE THIS. I DON'T HAVE A CLUE. I MEAN, I I FREAKED out by myself. I mean, not by myself, but at the time I was by myself, but Holy Spirit was in there. I DON'T HAVE A CLUE. I'M WISDOMLESS. I NEED WISDOM. I'M SCREAMING at the top of my lungs at 6:00 IN THE MORNING. I'M GOING NUTS. And it was like something happened, but I couldn't explain it. It just it's like when you get a revelation from God and someone asked you what is it? Just say you don't know. Just let it let it bake a little while. Are you with me? Cuz like how many of you have got some Oh, it's so

good. People go, "What is it?" I don't know. Cuz God's training your heart. It's awesome. So I get this like little revelation. I don't leave Teen Challenge. Then a month and a half in, everybody's in the we're in class, you know, and and they're like, "Consider it joy when you face these trials." And I went, "That's stupid." That's what I said. Cuz I have been on trial many times. Court marshaled felonies, misdemeanors. Guilty. Guilty. Why is that joyful? Guilty. That's not joyful. And that's what I'm thinking cuz I'm not thinking like they're thinking. And I said, ' It's not okay, man. Why would I be joyful? I'm going to prison. No, that's not exactly what

it means. No, I know what trials mean. Okay, how many of you guys know what trials mean? I'm causing a ruckus. I know what tri do you like it? Is it joyful for you? No, it ain't joyful for me. I mean, sometimes it's teen challenge or prison. So, like, it's the choice. And they choose Teen Challenge because it's not behind bars. It's crazy. So, I'm I'm like, man, can I be excused, please? I got to go. Let can I go upstairs prayer room, please? I don't want to cause problems. So, I go upstairs in the prayer room and I open my Bible. I Where is that James thing at? Where is James? I have to

look in the front, you know, to get the cuz I don't know how to and I'm like, "Okay, where is James? James, James, James, James, James, James." Okay. Okay. Consider it joy. Ah, I hate trials. And all of a sudden, I hear this still small voice. It's not audible. Like how many of you know the still small voice of God is a thought, right? He says, "Uh, you don't like trials cuz you're always guilty." I went, "Oh, you ain't kidding. I But I think it's my brain thinking that, you know, saying it. I hate trial, man. I'm way more guilty than I got caught for." Are you with me? Like all of us are. What

if you got caught for everything? Prison. I'm not kidding. Some of you are like, "Well, I didn't really do Stop it." Oh my gosh. So, I'm thinking I'm always guilty. And then I hear that the second thought, which is God's voice again, says, "What if I say you're not guilty?" I'm like, "That's dumb. That's so stupid." Like, I'm I'm guilty. Oh my gosh. I' I've done it. You do the crime. You do the time. Here I am in teen challenge. I ruined everything. I lost my girl, lost my daughter, lost my friend. Like, I'm guilty. Then I hear another voice that says, "I say you're not guilty." I went, "That's the devil." I did. I

promise. I took my Bible downstairs. I said, "I need to talk to somebody." I went right to a counselor. I said to him, "Get off the phone." I said to him, "I'm just kidding. Our flight got delayed, so we could check all that stuff." I said to him, I said, "Is it true that the Bible says I'm not guilty?" He looks at me and he goes, "Bro, you're in Teen Challenge. We're all guilty. That's what he said. Cuz there is a religious mindset that says that even if you're forgiven, you have to remain guilty. >> You're not guilty because of the blood of Jesus. >> You're not going to You're not You're not guilty because

of what Jesus did. But I have no revelation of it. So when he said that to me, I said, "Thank you, brother. I appreciate that." But when I walked away, that little voice said, "I say you're not guilty." It wouldn't go away. I'm like, "Okay, something's weird here." So I went to the next one and I said, "Is it true that the Bible says I'm not guilty?" And he looks at me and he goes, "Well, theologically speaking and metaphorically," he he was talking to me in high English stuff. I couldn't understand. I'm just like I'm a simple guy and he's giving me these I don't understand the words he's saying. I said man I don't

understand what you're saying. He said you will someday. I said I don't know like I don't know where you got those words from but I don't get it. And he looks at me and he goes he he goes someday. I looked at him. I go what if I was like a three-year-old kid and I said I need help. He said you're not a three-year-old kid. You're a grown man. You need to act like one. So he started hammering me. But then I thought, I'm only a month and a half old in the Lord. So, I'm actually not even a kid. I'm an infant. I got spiritual huggies on. I've just been born again. I'm a

baby and I'm okay with that. I'm serious. So, I went to another one and this guy is a spiritfilled counselor. I don't know it yet, but I'm going to talk to him. Man, is it true that the blood of Jesus makes me clean? He goes, "Absolutely, my brother." I grabbed him by the chest AND SAID, "TELL ME THE TRUTH." I WAS FREAKING OUT. I couldn't believe that he would say that. He goes, "No, no, no. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go." I said, "Tell me the truth." He said, "It's absolutely true. The blood of Jesus makes you clean." I said, "Prove it." I was so angry, yet it was like, cuz there's

no possible way. Like, how can that be real? Like, how many of you been deceived by somebody, lied to by somebody, hurt by somebody? So when the gospel comes, we're defending ourselves from being hurt. >> Come on. All of a sudden, all of a sudden, I'm like, "Prove it." He gives me five scriptures. I go upstairs to the prayer room. I open my Bible. I look at these scriptures and I have to find them. It's going to take me a while to find them. I open my Bible. And the one in Hebrews 10 that says this, "Your sins and your lawless deeds," this is the covenant that I will make with them actually says he

will write them on our minds and on our hearts. Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more. And I went, "Wait a second. How could how could he remember them no more?" Like, what is that? See, if the covenant that we had with Moses was the was the condemnation covenant, the ministry that we have is not the ministry of condemnation. We have the ministry of righteousness that is much more glory. I didn't understand it, but I went to bed that night. I said, "God, if there's one thing I can get from you, please, just one thing. This is all I want. I I don't want to be guilty anymore. I don't want

to be depressed anymore. I don't want to be condemned anymore. I don't God, how can this be true? Help me. I'm tired of living in condemnation. I'm tired of it. I hate it. I don't want to do it anymore. I can't go back and fix the stuff I did. I can't go back and fix the people that are dead because of my life. I can't go back and fix all the drug addiction. I can't go back and fix the I hate you in front of my daughter. I can't go back and fix the times she's been up all night on the couch. I can't go back and fix all the times I've ripped off everybody.

I've burned everything to the ground. I burned every bridge. I'm tired of it. I don't want it anymore. I went to bed that night and I woke up in the morning and I went in the bathroom, you know, and I brushed my teeth and I washed my face and I looked in the mirror and went, What's going on? >> Like for the first time in my life, I wasn't condemned. >> No, no, no. Like that thing, that haze, that gray, that nasty, I wish I didn't do it. I wish I didn't do it. It was like I never did it. >> Amen. >> It doesn't come through a great thought. It comes through the spirit

of wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of him. And I realized I was clean. I'm like, "Oh my gosh." I went to my roommates. I woke them up. I said, "Guys, look at my eyes. I'm free." They went, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light. You need to be careful, my brother." I said, "Man, I'm telling you, I'm free, man. Something's happened. I'm free." Like, you need to chill. I'M LIKE, "NO." I went to the prayer room. Things just opened. All of a sudden, it's a whole new world. WHAT OTHER SOURCE BESIDES THE blood of Jesus cleanse you? What what else besides the blood of Jesus can cleanse

your conscience from dead works to serve God? >> What other source can renew your mind except for the word of God and the truth of God? What else can clean you? Counseling can't clean you. >> The blood of Jesus cleans you, washes you white as snow. What can wash me? Come on. Come on. How many times do we sing it? What can wash away my sin? >> Then why would you sing it and not believe it? >> WHY DO WE SING IT AND CRY YET live in guilt, shame, and condemnation? >> BECAUSE THESE THOUGHTS. WHY? WELL, LOOK. JESUS SAID, "MY SHEEP WILL HEAR AND obey my voice, and the STRANGERS THEY WILL NOT FOLLOW." >>

YOU'RE COMMANDED TO KNOW THE FATHER'S VOICE. >> SO, I'm excited and people are getting upset at me cuz now I'm like, "Hey, dude, I'm telling the new guy that just got saved, that just came in the Teen Challenge, bro. Blood of Jesus has washed you. You're no longer lost. You're found. You're no longer blind. You see, get the blank away from me." Okay, buddy. But I'll be living in the same house. We can talk about it if you want to. I'm excited. The counselors are like, "What are you doing?" I'm like, "I'm free." You ain't free, Todd. You signed up for a year. Are you saying I got to wait for a year to be

free? Well, you got to go through the program. I said, "What if it's not the program? What if it's Jesus? What if it's Christ? What if it's the blood of Jesus? Like, when can WE REALLY BE FREE? WHEN ARE WE going to let people be free? Why would we stop somebody and tell them they can't be free? I'm just excited two weeks in. Then I have three dreams where I have encounters with Jesus in my dreams. And the third night, he tells me to go home and restore my friends and family. So, I pack my stuff in the morning. It's not good. I quit everything. I'm 2 months into a 12-month program. I walk downstairs.

They're hammering me. You're going TO BE DOING DRUGS IN JUST A MINUTE, MAN. YOU'RE GOING TO BE DEAD ON THE STREET. And the guy that left before me was two weeks dead from a heroin overdose. So that's what they got on their minds. And I know they're trying to protect me, but Jesus, I called Dan. I said, "Hey man, I need you to come get me." Dan goes, "Todd, is this the Lord?" I said, "I've met Jesus." He goes, "I'm on my way." He didn't even question me. >> He comes to pick me up. I'm so excited. I'm sitting out on the porch cuz when you decide to leave, they get you away from the

group so you don't make everybody else leave. So, I'm sitting on the porch just crying and loving God and knowing that he set me free and knowing he's my father. And I'm so excited. Dan comes up. I'm crying. He goes, "You good?" I go, "I'm so good, man." He goes in, I hear him yelling at Dan. HE'S GOT TO BE, "YOU'RE ENABLING him to I hear everybody be." I don't know what Dan's saying. He comes back out. He goes, "Come on, buddy. Let's go." I get in the truck. I'm so excited. Like, Dan just loved me. I get in the truck. He goes, "Hey, tell me about it." So, I start sharing my heart. He's

real. Like, he's real, dude. He's real. He goes, "Well, yeah." I go, "I met him. He forgave me." He goes, "You got it." I GO, "HE FORGAVE ME." AND HE FORGOT what he forgave. Like little childlike faith. We get to my house. So when I get to the house, my I got to tell my daughter how I can't live there. I got to break the news, you know, I I ruined mommy's life. I ruined my daughter's life, but I got to tell my kid. And what I realized on my way there is that I never saw my daughter from a father's perspective. Any man can be a sperm donor, but it takes a man of

God to be a father. And when I get there, my daughter comes running across the porch and she grabs me. She goes, "Daddy, you're home." I said, "Baby, daddy can't live here. I love you so much. I'm so sorry for all that I did and all the times I hurt you. I didn't know any better, but I met the father, and I'm going to show you the father." You know what she said? "Daddy, your eyes are different." >> She didn't know the scripture, >> but I have someone else living inside of me now. >> And I'm like, I love you so much, baby. I'm going to show you all about who God is. She goes,

"Daddy, you're home." I said, "Baby, daddy can't live here. I love you with all my heart." Mommy comes out and I'm holding my kid. I'm like, "Man, this is going to take time. My she's going to now a lot of healing needs to take place." You know, all that stuff. Or she might be free because the blood of Jesus. My girlfriend comes out and I said, "I am so sorry. I hurt you so much. I I just did everything wrong." She goes, "I know you did. When you went away, I gave my life to Jesus." That's ridiculous. I said, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What happened?" Dan goes, "I've been pouring into your

girls when you were gone." I go, "What?" And and immediately I'm convicted because we don't have a covenant. I said, "I'm not moving in. I can't do this. We can't do this." She goes, "No, silly. we need to be married first. I went, "What?" Dan had been teaching her about marriage when I was gone. And when I came home, my girlfriend asked me to marry her on the porch. Oh, see, this is way better than an Easter story. And I I was so happy. And then all of a sudden my heart started pounding and I'm like, "Whoa, whoa, whoa. What's that?" It's the gauge. It's called the fear of the Lord. What happens is your

senses become trained to discern between both good and evil. Hebrews 5:14 says, he says that milk, milk, oh, how good are you? I was wondering where you were. I said, "Lord, if he's hearing your voice, sending him now." Thank you. And I I'm so excited. It says, "Strong meat is for the mature who have their senses trained to discern between both good and evil." Right before that, it says that by now you should be a teacher. But it says because their senses have been trained because they've been trained in righteousness. So, I didn't know it. I'm very new. from very beginning in the Lord. But God said, "You're trembling because your house is full of

trash. Go into your house and remove it." So I went in. I got rid of all the pornography. I had lots of bad things. It ruled my life from 8 years old. I thought that's what made me a man. That's that's not what makes me a man. That's not what makes you a man. We can be free. We don't have to have a secret life. God sees everything. >> God sits in the theater room of your mind and sees everything that goes across your screen. >> It's not like you can make your bed in hell and hide from him. He sees it all. So I went through I got all the porn out. I got

all my bongs and my bowls. I know I know you don't know what that is, but I got all my paraphernalia. I got everything. I took it out back and I burned it and the barrel, smashed it with a sledgehammer to make it fit, poured gas all over it, lit a trail. I'm so excited. And I worshiped Jesus over my past. And I was super stoked. My wife didn't or my girlfriend didn't see it. My Dan didn't see it. My daughter didn't see it. It was just me. I'm out of out of their sight. They can't even see it. But God did. God saw it. And that's what mattered. >> It's called the be the

fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. So we said we were going to get married. And so a few days later in between first and second service, my wife and I got married in a church that I lived as a hypocrite in for five and a half months. And none of them believed except for Dan. Dan and maybe another couple that this was real. Cuz I quit Teen Challenge 10 months early. You know, you didn't follow through. you. I went to a Rama Bible Church and they're great people. Dan was the associate pastor, but the head pastor just he had fallen back into drug addiction even after he was pastoring and and went

back to Teen Challenge. So, he's thinking that maybe I was the same. And I get it and I don't fault anybody, but we got married that day and we've been married for 22 years. Can I show you my family? Can you put the picture of my family up? Look at that. So, this is my lovely wife, Jackie. She's right here to the right of me. And uh we've been we've been together 30 gosh 31 years. 22 really good ones. And uh there's our 29year-old. That's the little 7 and 1/2year-old now. She runs the performing arts at our building and she is doing so good. That's my son-in-law and my two granddaughters that would never be

here unless Jesus changed my life. And then we got my 19-year-old daughter Zoe on the bottom there who just went through her first year in LCU. She's getting her associates degree in biblical studies. And then there's my 15-year-old daughter up top, Riley, who's been with Destiny and Dance for seven years. And there's my son, Aariah, right in front of my wife. He's 10. We adopted him. He was born addicted to heroin. And we went to rehab with him. Yeah. I'll be on methadone to get free. He's completely sound, free soccer player, loves Jesus, loves the father. And that's my other son in front of me. His name's Asher. He's about to be seven. We rescued

him from possible termination. We just we got to adopt him when he was a baby. The day after my wife and I got married, uh, I heard the Holy Spirit say, "It ain't going to work, man. Thank you. I heard the Holy Spirit say, "Go and visit your friend Bobby." Cuz my friend Bobby, you know, he was in a coma. He was in a convolescent home. And so I went, "Oh, it was tough, man." I took my daughter Destiny, seven and a half at the time. I took her with me and we went up to this place. He's on life support. He's brain dead and he's alive, but he's not there, you know. He's just

his brain's uh skulls cut away. His brain's bulging out. A lot of gauze and all that. And I went in the room and his wife's an atheist and she was in there in the corner just with her hands over her face. And I looked at her and I said, "I'm sorry." She said, "It's okay." I said, "I'm sorry, Bobby. I love you, man. I'm so sorry." And she said, "Why are you keep saying you're sorry? You didn't do this." I said, "Because I never showed him Jesus." And she said, "Jesus? You're going to tell me that there's a Jesus? I don't think so. Shut your mouth. She started screaming at me and raging at me.

I said, I will never shut up again. I will live my life out loud. I looked at him. I said, "Bobby, he's real. Can you hear me? He's real, man." He didn't wink at me. He didn't blink at me. His eyes were fixed and dilated. He's in a coma. And for 30 seconds, Jesus loves you. All that stuff. 30 seconds just a barrage of what didn't need to happen. I saw a picture of it and then God took it away from me. I felt the the guilt of what I did and then God went and I said, "This will never happen again. I promise you never will it happen again." And I left after I

STARTED TO SING I'M sorry in this place and the nurses WERE COMING IN. I'M sorry cuz I'm sorry. I can't go back and fix those five and a half months that I lived as a hypocrite. I lived not knowing God. I incorporated God for what I can get from him. And you can't live your life out loud the way you need to if you incorporate God. You have to surrender and go after him with EVERYTHING YOU ARE. YOU'RE NOT BELONGING TO YOU. YOU'VE BEEN PURCHASED WITH A PRICE. NOT SILVER OR GOLD, BUT WITH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. >> We have TO MAKE A DECISION WHAT WE'RE GOING TO SERVE. You're either GOING TO

SERVE YOURSELF or you're going to serve God. And man, I left that day crying. My daughter's sobbing cuz she knows Bobby. She doesn't know him like that. She knew him as the cool, nice guy. We got to the house. I told my wife. I said, "It's really bad." I said, "She wasn't even home. Bettyy's so angry." She goes, "Well, she was just pray." So, I prayed. The next morning, I woke up. Betty called my house. Bobby died. GOT ONE SHOT AT THIS THING. YOU GOT ONE SHOT. ETERNITY IS NOT IN FRONT OF YOU. IT'S BESIDE YOU. Eternity isn't here. Eternity is here. Man, Facebook, INSTAGRAM, TIK TOK. WHAT ARE YOU WASTING YOUR LIFE ON? WHAT'S

MORE IMPORTANT THAN God in your life? It's idolatry. It's not okay. This isn't just a Sunday thing. If we really want to see revival, if we really want to see it, we have to be unity. We have to be of same mind. WE HAVE TO GO AFTER GOD WHOLEHEARTEDLY. YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO HOLD YOUR LIFE BACK FROM HIM. Betty called my house and said, "Bobby died. Would you speak at his funeral because you were his only friend." I said, "I don't even know what I would say." She said, "We'll call me back." I said, "I'll call you back." I got off the phone. And I said to my wife, I said, "Bobby died." And we

cried together and held each other. It's really hard, man, cuz you don't know when somebody's going to go. Eternity is right here. It's not in front. I've lost a lot of people, but that one hurt the worst. Cuz I lived as an absolute liar, as an absolute hypocrite. If I could go back and change it, I would. But I can't. But I can change from this day forward. So I went to his funeral. I called Betty back and said, "I'd do it." I went there and here his body is in the coffin and but he ain't there. And I looked at his two kids, the 7 and 1/2 and three and a half-year-old kids on

the front row and I told them, "I'm so sorry." I watched that little girl, Bri, his three and a half-year-old daughter. Daddy wake up. I watched Nate, his son, hold her. Daddy ain't waking up. And all this place is filled with atheists. There's no Christians in the whole place except for one pastor that's there. I said, I greater love hath nobody than this that he would lay his life down for his friend. I didn't lay my life down. I held on to my life. My band that left is there sobbing in the room. They don't believe. They're atheists. Angry and sad because death comes to everybody. Everybody. It's appointed once for every man to die.

And I said, "I'm I'm sorry." And I shared my heart for a little while. And I said, "There's no other name under heaven that men could be saved except for Jesus." And this pastor came up. He goes, "I'll take it from here, son." I said, "Okay." I was done. And the pastor came up and asked if anybody wanted to surrender their heart to Jesus. Half the funeral home of atheists got born again. It's powerful. I just want to ask you a real question here. Is the life that you're living worth the price that he paid? And are you living for you or are you living for him? Do you want to continue seeking the world

or do you want to go after God? So my question is, if you're living a life that's not worthy of the call, and you know that you need change, you need transformation, I would like you to come up here right now. I'd like you to be humble and come up here and not care about what anybody else thinks. If you'd like to surrender, I want you up here. Don't let pride keep you in your seat. Cuz who cares about pride? Dignity is not a fruit of the spirit. I'm talking about burning and living a life worthy of the gospel and having people around you saved and transformed because they see a life that's surrendered to

God. They see somebody that's going after God wholeheartedly. They see somebody that's not willing to live for the world anymore. Proud of you. Come on, man. There's so many more people that need to be up here. It bothers my heart. There are people here, they're like, I I don't need to do it there. I can do it privately. I didn't ask you to do it privately. Yeah. Here's a napkin. Here's a Kleenex for anybody that needs them. I'm asking you to do it publicly. I'm asking you to do it with your brothers and sisters that are here. If we're going to really come together, then why don't we be raw? Why don't we be real?

God is faithful. He said that if we confess, he's faithful and just to cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Aren't you tired of a lack of surrender? Do you not want to give it all to Jesus? People depend upon your life lived out loud for the gospel. How many of you are tired of letting fear run your life, but you'd like to actually surrender and have faith run your life? Why don't we be a people of faith and not a people of fear? Perfect love casts out all fear. You guys are God's best. I'm looking at God's elect. Doesn't matter where you've been. It doesn't matter what you've done. It doesn't. It just matters that you

see him. cuz he's faithful and he'll give you grace. I promise he's going to give you freedom. He's a king of glory. If he can change me, he can change anybody. That thing that's been drugful in you is leaving today, buddy. I promise. Oh, I'm so serious. Jesus. See, someone's eternity depends upon your life right now. Someone's eternity, one of your friends at work, somebody in your life depends upon you going after Jesus with all that you are. I love being here. I love the unity of churches. It blesses my heart. But why don't we run the right way? Why don't we go after God with everything we are? Why don't we leave pride on

the floor? Why don't we leave the fear of man on the floor? We want to come back here and do a power and love school where we all come together and we all be trained and equipped to go out there and win the lost. I believe that America is going to be saved. Why doesn't it start in Midland? Why doesn't it start here? Why not here? Why not now? Why not Midland? Wouldn't this be the perfect place? Come on. Are you you guys kidding me? Midland would be the perfect place for revival to break out. Are you with me? Come on. Midland on the news. Now we have the shooting that's on the news, but

revival on the news. Wouldn't it be just like the enemy to try to mess up what God wants to do? Don't let the enemy have a place in your life. Kick him out. Kick him out. Is there anybody else that needs to be up here? I'm just going to say this once. Husbands, your wife will not vouch for you at the judgment seat. >> She will not be able to say, "Lord, he's a good man. Let him in. Sorry. You will face the judge yourself. I just needed to say that because you can be a good man in her eyes, but you have to go after Jesus yourself. God loves you and has plans for

you. He has a heart for you. You guys ready to pray? You know what I want? I want pastor to pray. I just love this so much. Pastor Jake is a phenomenal man. I got to spend the morning with him and I'm super excited and I'm going to stand here, but I want Pastor Jake to pray for you cuz this is about surrender. This is about giving it all to God. And uh he's a pretty amazing man of God. I know that all of you are, but I was really intrigued and I feel like a I I feel like a special just a special bond with this man of God. So, I'd like for you

to pray for them and have them Yeah. Just whatever. I love you. Yeah. Jesus, if you could just open your hands to heaven. Some of you have have prayed a prayer like this before and you want your you want your heart to agree with the words you spoke. Some of you, this is the first time you're going to pray this prayer. And I've prayed this prayer with a lot of people, but we're going to do it just a little bit different this morning if that's okay. We're going to ask for the fire of God to just pour through our soul, pour through our mind, pour through our being. John the Baptist said, "I baptize you

with water under under repentance." But there's someone coming after me, mightier than I whose sandals I'm not even worthy to loosen, and he will baptize you with spirit and in fire. Just repeat after me. Say, "Jesus, Jesus, >> I'm sorry. >> I've been lukewarm. I've chosen myself >> more times >> than I've ever chosen you. Bend me. >> Bend me. >> To your will. >> Not my will. >> But your will >> today. Okay. We're going to pray for the sick right now. Okay. I I understand

I'm just going to we're going to we're going to pray for each other. You guys, you okay with body ministry? Okay. Cuz like it's not Christ in Todd, the hope of glory. It's Christ in us, the hope of glory. Amen. Okay. Um so what I want to do is I want to have everybody put their hand on somebody beside them on their shoulder. Be good. Jesus. Yay. >> You ready?
