I wasn't going to read this, but let's go to John chapter 1, please. And I just we just we've got to remember this, guys, at all times. In the beginning was the >> word. >> Oh, man. Look at that. And the word was with >> God. And the word was, >> see, some of you are saying this and you ain't even turned there yet. Cuz you know, and then and then look at this. He was in the beginning, the word. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him nothing was made that was made. Somebody say >> nothing. >> So you're telling me everything that was made was

made by him? >> So if we find life on Mars, did did God make it? >> Just so you know, if there was life on Mars, we're still the apple of his eye. >> We're the ones made in his image. Amen. >> Think about that. You're made in the image of God. Go to Genesis. I mean, not not right now, but when you read Genesis, he he teaches you that you're made in the image of God. That's why that's why the fallen angels hate you so much because when they see us, they see God. So, if we if we go to Mercury or or some distant galaxy and we find some creature. Yeah, man. That

we we found this alien and it's got it's got a eye right in the center of its forehead and a mouth on its neck. Guess what? It's not in the image of God. Maybe it was made by God, but it's not in his image. you are. Maybe it was made by God, but Jesus didn't die for that thing. He died for you. You see what I mean? I don't know how how real or how fake all of this alien abduction stuff is, but did you know that everyone who claims to almost be abducted by aliens have one thing in common? They fled when they said the name of Jesus. Somebody say the name of Jesus

right now. Come on. Verse number six in chap in in John chapter one. There was a man sent from God whose name was John. This man came for a witness to bear witness of the light that that all through him might believe. He was not that light but was sent to bear witness of that light that was the true light which gives light to every man coming into the world. He was in the world and the world was made through him and the world did not know him. He came to his own and his own did not receive him. Man, I pray my prayer for you is that when Jesus comes knocking on your door,

you open that door wide open every single time. Guys, you you guys, we need Jesus every day. Not just the day you gave your life to him. The day you gave your life to him is the day you gave your life to him. The next day you needed him more. And the next day you needed him even more. And the next day, one pastor, he said, he said, "You don't need the Holy Spirit to go to heaven. You need the Holy Spirit to go to Walmart. You need the Holy Spirit to go to the grocery store. You need the Holy Spirit to just make it outside of your house." And I would even take it

a step further. You need the Holy Spirit to survive in your own home. >> You with me, guys? I I'm sure there's people with under the sound of my voice, but I've been talking to people. They're having nervous breakdowns just by living. They don't know the Lord. They don't know Jesus. And they'll just sit down and and just break and cry. And then they'll tell me, "I don't know why I'm crying." They can't handle the pressures of life. Anybody here know what I'm talking about? the pressures of life just start getting so stronger and you and it's like you wish you were never born. The only reason why you can get to that place is

because you haven't been inside of this place. Once you get inside of this place, you're going to start realizing why you were born. He came to his own and his own did not receive him. But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God. To those who believe in his name, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And then my favorite part right here, verse 14. And the word became flesh and dwelt among men, and we beheld his glory. The glory as of the only begotten of the father. That's so important, guys. There

are sons of God. We all get to be sons and daughters of God. But Jesus was the only begotten son of God. We won't dive into how important that is, but you need to understand that that is extremely important. There's even a there's even a spot, I think it's in Hebrews, where he says, "To which one of the angels did he say, today I have begotten you? Jesus was the only begotten son. Not even Adam could say he was begotten. Adam was the was a son of God. Adam was made from the dust of the earth in the image of God. But Jesus was born. You see, you see the thing about Jesus being born

is that he was at the right hand of the father. He was the anointed one. He was Jesus Christ, the anointed one. He was He was seated. We just read right here. In the beginning, he was the Word. In the beginning, he was with God. In in the beginning, he was with him when he made everything and nothing was made without him. And everything was made through him. That's where Jesus was in the beginning. And then he decides to become a begotten son. He decides to to to humiliate himself, be placed inside of a woman's belly, and then be squeezed through a birth canal. It doesn't get much more humble than that. And just when

you think Jesus can't be no more humble, he decides to wash the feet of his disciples. How many people How many people's feet have you washed? Five a lot. She's a nurse. Get out of here. For free? No. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. But come on. You see what I'm saying though? And and and think about this. You realizing who Jesus is. You're realizing who he is. And you're like, "Jesus, don't wash my feet, man. This is not your place. I loved it. I loved it. Who Who got to hear uh Evangelist Todd White speak on on Sunday? Make some noise for for Todd. I love it. We We ran out of room in

the house. We had chairs all over the place. We had chairs all over here and and we ran out of room. So then they started running and grabbing chairs and started stacking them right here. Remember that? And guess who was right alongside him? Wasn't he Todd? And then some of the guys that were like, "Hey, hey, Todd, man, you're the speaker. You don't you don't need to help us that chair." And he goes, "I'm a man, too, just like you." >> And he just kept on helping and and his his buddy was helping. It ministered to me so much, which is what we do. Pastor Bill. Pastor Bill stacks chairs. He's one of the best.

Sometimes he I catch him walking through these aisles making sure everything's straight and then he's praying for the chairs. Very few people think that way. You know, there was a guy one time, he was getting a tattoo and and he said, the guy was like, the tattoo artist was like, "What what do you want as your tattoo?" He said, "Man, something that just proves I love the Lord." He goes, "Oh, I got an idea." He goes, "Okay, don't tell me. Don't tell me. Just put it on there. Surprise me." And then he takes him about two hours and he finishes the tattoo and he's like, "All right, I'm done." He goes, "Oh, awesome." And he

looks at his tattoo. This is a tattoo that proves he loves the Lord, right? Lo loves to serve the Lord. And guess what it is? >> A big old stack of chairs. Sorry. Well, you find out who the servants are when it's time to stack chairs. And Jesus is sitting there and he's washing the feet and they're like, "Man, don't do this. Don't do this." And and what does he say? He says, "If you don't let me do this, you have no part with me." Manurva, I'm sorry. I'm I'm going way off script here. I gave her all the scriptures that I'm not using tonight. Ephesians chapter 1, verse 4. He chose us in him

before the foundations of the world that we should be holy and blameless before him in love, having predestined us into the adoption of children by Jesus Christ himself. chapter 1 verse4. Then then in verse 11 he says it again. Predestined according to the purpose of him who workketh all things after the counsel of whose will? His will. He he's he's trying to tell you that he's trying to form you into something. Romans chapter 8 verse 29 he says he says he predestined you. Somebody say you >> to be conformed into the image of his son. says it again in First Peter chapter 1 vers20 if you want to write that down. We're supposed to be

looking like Jesus. We're supposed to be walking like Jesus, talking like Jesus. I was talking to a pastor the other day and I love him. I love him. I'm not, this is not a knock at pastors, but I was telling him I said, "Yeah, I was in I was in the restroom at Salt Grass." Uh, and I ended up washing my hands the same time that this big old cowboy was washing his hands and he made the mistake of making eye contact with me. Says, "How you doing?" I said, "Man, I'm doing great. How you doing?" And he goes, "Man, could be better." Well, now that's his second mistake. Telling me he could be better.

Guys, we've we've got to live with our ears open. We've got to live with our ears open. We've got to live with You see, you were once blind. You were once deaf. Even Jesus, how many times did Jesus say, "Those with ears, let them hear." Guys, we've got to be paying attention because there are lost and hurting people everywhere we go. Everywhere we go, we're bumping into lost and hurting people everywhere we go. But if you're not abiding in Jesus, then how can you overflow Jesus? If you're not abiding in the word, which we just read was Jesus. That's the point I'm trying to make. Jesus. That's why I say all the time, have you

been facetiming with Jesus? Here's how you FaceTime with Jesus. Open your word. Look at it. Read it. Jake, man, you don't understand. I I have a hard time retaining. Well, he who lacks wisdom, let him let him ask. and he will give it to you abundantly. Go read James and read it again and again and again and again until until you are sitting there abiding. What did Jesus say? If you abide in my words and my words abide in you, then you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. >> Ah, we have been reading the word. Next thing you know, I'm praying for the guy and he's like, "Man, thank you

so much. Thank you." He just couldn't stop thanking me and we're in the bathroom. That's one of the weirder places that I've ministered to people. Next thing you know, we're halfway through our meal and the waiter waitress comes up. They're like, "Hey, y'all enjoy the meal. That guy you prayed for, he just put $500 towards your bill." I was like, "What?" You you guys you what I'm trying to say is he was so grateful. He the guy was so grateful that someone took two minutes out of their day to be the hands and feet of God. Being the hands and feet of God for two minutes just changed that dude's whole trajectory of the day.

So much so that he said, "I'm putting $500 to whatever it is that they're doing. I was the hands and feet of God for two minutes. Imagine if we just start living our life being the hands and feet of God all the time. I bet you he'll pour out a blessing on you that you can't contain. You see what I mean? That's all Todd was trying to say on Sunday. Doing the stuff I is great, but it ain't what gets you to heaven. Being in relationship with our father is what's going to is what's going to get heaven into you. Amen. We we get so wrapped up in in in all of the just the

day-to-day stuff and and and wondering what someone's thinking and wondering what someone's not thinking and and why this and why that and why can't this and man don't they know who I am and and all do you know who you are because if you know who you are for reals you'll never worry about in all of the sudden peace will have you so rock solid. Nothing can shake your peace. Nothing can shake your peace if you know who you really are. Because if you know who you really are, you know who's you really are, right? And now you're not trying to produce anything. Your tree of righteousness rooted deep in the love of Christ. Right?

You know, you know that trees try to do two things and neither of them is produce fruit. They try to find water and they try to find sunlight. They don't try to produce fruit. They produce fruit when they find water. They produce fruit when they find sunlight. Your job, my job is to find the water of the word. Be rooted deep in the water of the word. And then fruit will produce and it'll be good fruit and it'll be fruit that remains. The Bible says that the fruit of the righteous are like the tree of life. And the translation says that it captures souls, captures the hearts of men. And then it says, "He who

wins souls is wise." Let's stand up on our feet, y'all. The fruit of the righteous. You can go ahead and hit the lights. We're going to dismiss here in a second. What fruit are people picking from your life? What fruit are they picking from your life? The gospels are filled with what Jesus did when he was on his way somewhere. You know Jesus wasn't on his way to Zakius when we get the story of Zakchius. Like you know that, right? Jesus wasn't on his way to Zakchius. He wasn't He's like like, "Hey, let's go to this tree. Let's go to the sycamore tree and there's going to be this guy up there waiting for me."

No, Jesus was on his way somewhere and then Zakius got up in the tree and then Jesus like, "Oh, by the way, we're having dinner at your house." You know, Jesus wasn't on his way to the woman with the issue of blood. He was on his way somewhere and then she reached for the hem of his garment. Guys, we're all on our way somewhere. Are people going to find Jesus in you? You're all all of us. We're on our way somewhere. Are they going to find Jesus in you? Are they going to see you at the grocery store and say, "Man, let me let me just reach." I popped in at Black Rifle. I was

in a hurry. I I was just really quick. Just really, really quick. Popped in there. And then this guy grabbed my attention. He says, "Jake, man, can you pray for my grandpa real quick?" Me walking in there for him was an opportunity for a moment to pray for his grandpa who was having a a a really bad day. Guys, we've got to live our lives this way all the time. We got to we've got to live our life in the word of God. If we're not living in the word of God, how are we living? Is this our foundation or is this our is this just our decoration? It's got to be our foundation, not

just something I wear around my neck. Here in America, gosh, dog, everybody wears these things. If if you go to a persecuted country, it means something. They'll get killed for wearing this. But over here, it's it does it's like it doesn't mean anything. It's supposed to be a symbol of you dying every day to your selfish desires. I was hoping to read Galatians 5 today where he says, "If you live according to the spirit, you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh." If you if you live according to the spirit, you won't fulfill the desires of the flesh. You won't The Bible says you won't even fulfill it. You won't even attempt it because you're

too busy being led by the spirit of God. And when you're led by the spirit of God, every single day is just a miraculous moment. Every single day becomes just this encounter with Jesus. Every single day becomes this crazy supernatural life. And to you, it becomes just another Tuesday. Guys, I told you this already, but I'll say it again. We hung a we hung a picture up right out this outside this hallway of a young boy getting prayed for. Hadn't seen the kid in in almost four years. Had no idea where he was. Had no idea what he was up to. But we hung it up because it's a good picture. The day we hung

it up, the boy is in the back row of the church that's in that picture. And he felt that God forgot about him. And then there's a picture of him hanging up in a church he'd never been in before. And he drove in all the way from El Paso because Kitana said, "You need to be at church today." And he drove in from El Paso the day we hung the picture up. Then we then I told him that story. He He's like, "What the heck?" And God had to God had to do that so that he would be reminded that God will do whatever it takes to let you know that you have not been

forgotten. >> Amen. >> But are you willing to be the hands and feet? Are you willing to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit? Check right here. Check right here, right now. Say, "Lord, am I being sensitive? Be sensitive enough. Be sensitive enough to say, "Lord, I'm going to go eat at Roses today. I want to hear I want to hear which one you owe me at." And then you walk in. You walk in, you don't know how many times, guys. I'm like, I tell the Lord, "All right, where am I eating today?" You don't know how many times. And then I'll There's times I'll pull up to a restaurant. I'm like, "Nope, not eating here

today." And then boom, Gitana, I have a story before you leave. Gitana was leaving the oil show. He was leaving the oil show and the Lord says, "Gana, go to the uh what was it? The MCM. Go to the MCM hotel." And Kitana's driving. He goes, "Okay." pulls up in the parking lot and he says, "Lord, I am here." The Lord says, "Go inside." Turns off the car, walks inside. He goes, "Okay, I am here." The Lord says, "Go to the bar." And Gitana is like, "The bar, right?" And he says, "Okay." Goes and sits at the bar. He sits at the bar. He goes, "Okay, Lord, I am here." Nothing. So Katana is there

sitting at the bar and then he orders water, orders water from the bartender. Bartender gives him some water. Believe it or not, believe it or not, believe it. The guy next to him says, "You like water, huh?" Kitana says, "Yes, it's good." The guy slides him a hotel room key. How old was the little boy? He said, "There's a little boy waiting for you in that hotel room. Go enjoy." Katana says, "Ah, now I know why I'm here." Grabs the key, goes to the restroom, calls the cops. Within 12 minutes, the cops had the whole hotel surrounded and they rescued how many children? They rescued 51 children. Why? Because someone was being sensitive to the

Holy Spirit when he said, "Hey, go over here." I'm telling you, I revert as a special person. But guys, the Bible says that God is no respector of persons. What he'll do for one, he'll do for another. So if he lets if he lets someone like hear the voice of God, don't you think he'll let you listen, too? Imagine being to a place where where you're like on your knees just spending time there and the Lord's like finally someone humble enough someone humble enough to just want to hear my voice. That person I can really use to be my hands and feet. Everyone wants to be his hands and feet, but nobody wants to get

on their knees and be his friend. Everyone wants to be the hands and feet of God, but nobody wants to be the friend of God. Everyone wants to produce fruit to tell the stories, but nobody wants to just abide. God loves you just as much at your kitchen table as he does on the stage as he does right here in a pew. He loves you the same. But my question is, do you love him? >> Amen. Is this convicting anyone or just me? Here's what I'm going to do. Because because I your your your workplace needs you. Where you're going needs you. Some of you, you're not staying here, but wherever it is you end

up, they need you. But but they need, as the Lord put it to me one time, he said, "These heathens need to know that someone exists with no compromise. They need to know that someone exists in love with God." Amen. >> So, if that's you, all I want you to do is just put your hand over your heart, and I'm going to have Pastor Bill pray over you. Come on, pastor. All right. Heavenly Father, thank you for this great message. Thank God for people like Bishop Gatana who are willing to be led by the Holy Spirit and to make a difference. And like Pastor Jake just said, it's more important to be the friend of

God than to be the servant of God. Because God will share insights. He'll share his secrets with his friends. But that's not what he does. The Bible says in John 15, he doesn't share his secrets with just servants, just anyone. He said he shares his secrets with his with his friends. as a man with his friend. And we want to be that friend of God. We want to be led by the Holy Ghost. We want to include the Holy Ghost and partner with the Holy Ghost in our lives. And so, Father, I thank you that you call us friend. Father, I thank you that to spend time in the word of God is to spend

time in the presence of God.
